We call it hidden gem of the west. We love coming here as we live only two kilometres away from this place. A quiet and tranquil place, close to the city but far enough to find peace in the serine ambient. Take a walk and listen to the breaking waves while walking on the squeeky sand. Enjoy the sunset, meditate and find peace within. We loved our bike ride to this place this afternoon and walked uptown the Homestead and ride back. Kids loved it. They were tired at the end of total 15 Kilometres bike ride and walk but they enjoyed it.

The beach is natural and by no means manicured, but that is the beauty of the area. So if you want to get away from it all and don’t want to travel lots of kilometres, then this is for you. Especially for the local Point Cook residents it is a blessing in disguise. Great place for kids to explore. Multiple playgrounds, large areas of grass to run around and an untouched beach. It’s a great place for a more quiet beach hangout. It is part of the point Cooke marine sanctuary which is home to water and plant life as well as birds. We loved riding around and will be back many times again 🙂
